Woven Song Circles - AUTUMN

Join Woven Song circles for the season of AUTUMN 2022.

  • Started 20 Mar
  • 65 Australian dollars
  • 31 Obi Obi Rd, Mapleton

Woven song circle gatherings promote singing for well-being & community connection. Rediscover your voice through exploration of seasonal songs and group vocal experiences based on an alchemy of perspectives drawn from music therapy, Somatic Voicework principles and Eastern philosophy. Everything is connected ~ Within our own bodies and with everything in our environment. Each season provides wisdom and opportunities to mindfully notice the changes in nature and within ourselves. As a community of women, we will explore these aspects through group discussions, songs, voicework, meditation and movement practices. We will meet in Mapleton Hall for the first two months/sessions, we will learn songs & vocal practices, then in the third month/session we will meet in a secret location to raise our voices and vibrations surrounded by nature. Your investment of $65 includes 3 x 2hour guided Woven sessions and access to audio recordings providing support for learning harmonies and parts to the chosen songs. The season of AUTUMN includes the following dates: (20/03, 24/04 & 15/05) 2022. Please note: April's circle has been scheduled for the last Sunday of April due to Easter falling on the third Sunday of the month this year. There will be no refunds for unattended sessions. This has been designed to nourish women by supporting physiological health through voicework, promoting connection to self, nature and community. No singing experience is required, come as you are.
